This initiative, part of the "Rain or Shine - Grab is with you" program, will be rolled out in several phases. Gifts include a bat-wing raincoat, a uniform helmet, a uniform vest, and a jacket.

Notably, the vest and jacket are equipped with built-in cooling fans. This design addresses the specific needs of ride-hailing drivers, offering enhanced comfort in hot weather.

Driver-partners lauded the gifts as "practical and essential for daily driving". Nguyen Tran Phuong Thao from Da Lat, for instance, praised the uniform vest for its breathability and comfort. "In cold weather, I can wear it over other clothes for warmth, and on hot days, it pairs well with light attire", Thao stated.

Grab stated the program acknowledges the efforts and contributions of drivers in providing safe, convenient experiences for millions of users daily. Ly Thuy Bich Huyen, Chief Operating Officer of Grab Vietnam, highlighted that driver-partners operate daily in diverse weather, enduring intense sun or heavy rain. She emphasized that what might seem ordinary to many holds significance for ride-hailing drivers, citing a shirt designed for their specific work and weather conditions as an example.

"We hope these practical gifts from Grab will make drivers feel understood, fostering greater comfort and confidence in their work and service to users", Huyen stated.
