Tet holidays have become more flexible in recent years. Beyond traditional rituals, many families now dedicate time to home entertainment. Premier League matches, scheduled across the lunar year-end and solar year-start, have become a popular choice for sports enthusiasts.

In major urban centers such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, many young families watch football in the evenings, fitting it between their Tet cleaning and preparation schedules. In central and western provinces, local cafes and residential communities host communal viewing events, fostering a vibrant atmosphere leading up to the new year.

Hoang Nam, 36, from Hanoi, mentioned that his family is staying home this year instead of traveling. Beyond year-end celebrations and family activities, he enjoys watching football as a form of holiday entertainment. "It's wonderful to have football to watch together during Tet. With FPT Play offering both movies and sports, everyone finds something they like," he stated.

FPT's team has also launched various Premier League promotional activities in residential and rural areas during this time. Nguyen Minh Tuan, a network installation technician for the company, noted a surge in internet subscriptions, with many families also adding Premier League packages for expanded Tet entertainment choices.

An FPT Play representative explained that for many modern families, football doesn't disrupt traditional Tet routines; instead, it serves as a catalyst for family members to gather. The company views offering flexible Premier League packages and various internet TV combos as a way to enhance the Tet experience.

The company currently offers a Premier League combo package, which includes high-speed FPT Internet and access to the Premier League, starting from 59,000 VND per month. They also provide various commentary styles, allowing families to choose their preferred viewing experience.

From 28/1 to 28/2, individual users who subscribe to a new combo, triple Internet, FPT Play V.VIP package, or upgrade their existing Internet to FPT Play V.VIP are eligible for a lucky draw. The total prize value exceeds 170 million VND, with prizes including a 43-inch HD Google TV, a LocknLock cordless water flosser, and other items.

Between 9/2 and 28/2, new customers who subscribe to the Premier League Internet combo will receive an FPT camera and a 12-month Cloud storage package. This program is available at FPT Telecom branches, with the exception of Da Nang, Hai Phong, central Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Users paying via MoMo wallet until 28/2 can use the code "MMFPTTET" to receive a 50,000 VND discount on their first payment. Existing customers will receive a 10% discount, capped at 20,000 VND per eligible transaction.

Furthermore, customers who subscribe online to V.VIP 1 or V.VIP 2 packages via the FPT Play app or website between 1/2 and 28/2 can receive discounts. They can get up to a 200,000 VND discount when paying with an international TPBank card, or up to a 50,000 VND discount for their initial payment via ShopeePay.
