In Hoa Vang commune, Da Nang city, at polling station number 16, election committee members brought mobile ballot boxes to the homes of frail, elderly voters unable to visit polling stations. Among them was Dang Thi Lam, 116 years old, residing in Thach Bo village. Under the guidance of the election committee members, Ms. Lam personally cast her ballot for representatives to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council for the 2026-2031 term.
According to Ngo Van Nhan, head of polling station number 16, local authorities had previously compiled a list of elderly and infirm voters who could not travel. On election day, task forces delivered mobile ballot boxes to each home, ensuring every eligible voter could exercise their right to vote.

Also in Da Nang city, Ho Thi Lui, 106 years old, a Ca Dong ethnic minority member, used a cane to reach the polling station in Ayun hamlet, Nam Tra My commune, to cast her vote. There, election officials guided her through each step, allowing her to directly exercise her right.
Across many other localities, centenarian voters directly visited polling stations. Hanoi reported approximately 40 voters over 100 years old registered to vote on 15/3. The oldest, born in 1916 and currently 110 years old, resides in Ba Vi commune.
At various polling stations, election committees arranged separate tables and support staff. This allowed elderly voters to complete procedures quickly and provided them the opportunity to personally cast their ballots.
