Around 7:00 p.m., a fire broke out on the first floor of a 4-story house at 42A Buoi street, Giang Vo ward, Hanoi. Many people were inside and unable to escape.
Fire and rescue teams from areas 8 and 2 dispatched 4 fire trucks and over 20 personnel to the scene. Firefighters, equipped with oxygen tanks, accessed the upper floors to search for trapped individuals. Simultaneously, they broke open the rolling door on the first floor to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to other floors and neighboring houses.

After nearly two hours, the fire was completely extinguished. Fire police collaborated with ward police to guide three people to safety and rescue two trapped individuals, including one child. They also ensured the fire did not spread to the upper floors of the house or adjacent residences.

Another fire occurred at 10:30 p.m. in a house in alley 179 Vinh Hung, Vinh Hung ward. Ward police broke down the door and used fire extinguishers to put out the blaze, guiding 7 residents to safety.
