Five blocks of former classrooms and administrative offices at the old Quang Tri College of Economics and Technology, located in Dong Son ward about 5 km from the provincial center, are nearing the end of their renovation. Walls have been repainted and roofs replaced.
The project is 95% complete, with remaining tasks including electrical and plumbing connections, and fire safety inspections. After the renovations, this location will offer 120 rooms, accommodating 207 people.

In 2020, the F building lecture halls of the Quang Tri College of Economics and Technology merged with Quang Binh College of Technology and Agriculture, leaving the space vacant.
At the end of June, with walls covered in mold, peeling floors, damaged roofs, and various areas in disrepair, contractors began renovations. Now, the building has a fresh look with most elements completed, leaving only the exterior fire escape to be finalized.
