Around 1 a.m., residents of an alley on Tan Ky Tan Quy street heard a loud explosion from the glass factory. The force of the blast deformed the corrugated iron roofs and steel frames of two single-story houses, scattering debris onto the street.

"The explosion was very loud, shaking the walls and doors of my house. When I ran out, I saw the glass factory had collapsed, and shards of glass were scattered all over the street," Thanh Hoang, a nearby resident, said.
The fire department dispatched three vehicles and 18 firefighters to search for victims and secure the scene. Authorities confirmed there were no casualties.

A representative of the Tan Son Nhi ward People's Committee said the initial cause was a boiler explosion at the stained-glass company. The authorities have documented the damage to several houses and are providing support for repairs.
