The incident occurred around 10 AM when a man was driving a five-seat car on National Highway 55, traveling from Ho Tram commune towards Ba Ria ward. Near Suoi Sau bridge in Dat Do commune, the vehicle collided with a four-seat car parked in front of a grocery store by the roadside.

After the initial impact, the car continued forward, breaking a guardrail before overturning on the roadside. The driver, a woman, and two children were trapped inside. Passersby quickly rescued them; they sustained minor injuries and were subsequently hospitalized.

The five-seat vehicle sustained extensive front-end damage. Its windshield shattered, and a wheel detached. The parked four-seat car had a dented rear and its left tire was flat.

Residents living near the scene reported that the parked car was unoccupied at the time of the collision. They also noted that the stretch of road is straight with clear visibility.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
