Around 2:45 PM, a 5-seater car collided with ten motorbikes at the intersection of Le Hong Phong street and the road leading to Lot 16D.
The incident left thirteen people injured, including one child trapped under the car. Ten motorbikes lay severely damaged on the road, while the car sustained minor damage to its front passenger side. Victims were taken to the emergency room, none in critical condition.

According to witnesses, the car was traveling from the Big C roundabout towards Cat Bi airport in the mixed lane. It lost control of its speed and crashed into the line of motorbikes waiting at the red light.
Immediately after receiving the report, Traffic Police Team 1 of Hai Phong City Police quickly arrived at the scene. They regulated traffic and began investigating the incident.

The car driver, identified as Hai, 64 years old, was taken to Hai An Ward Police station. He underwent testing for alcohol and stimulants and provided a statement.
At the time of the accident, the area was clear, with good visibility.
The accident occurred during rush hour on a heavily trafficked road, causing prolonged traffic congestion in the Le Hong Phong street area.
