Car swerves into oncoming lane, collides with tractor-trailer, 4 dead

A 7-seater car traveling on national highway 1 in Chi Lang district suddenly veered into the opposite lane, colliding head-on with a tractor-trailer, resulting in 4 fatalities and two injuries.

Around 13:30 on 26/11, a Phu Tho-plated 7-seater car was traveling on national highway 1 towards Chi Lang commune, Lang Son province, when it unexpectedly veered into the opposite lane and collided directly with a Bac Giang-plated tractor-trailer.

The severe impact deformed the 7-seater car. Three males and one female in the car died at the scene. The two survivors were rushed to emergency care in critical condition.

According to the Traffic Police Department, the initial cause was determined to be the 7-seater car driving in the wrong lane, hitting the tractor-trailer traveling in the opposite direction.
