On 19/11, around 4 PM, a container truck carrying wood chips, bearing a Lam Dong license plate, was traveling on National Highway 28. The truck was heading from Gia Nghia (formerly Dak Nong) towards Bao Lam (formerly Lam Dong). Near the Bao Lam 5 Commune People's Committee, it collided with a 5-seater car traveling in the opposite direction.

The impact caused the container to overturn, crushing the car and deforming it. Three of the four occupants in the car were critically injured and trapped inside the cabin. Residents helped free them and transported them to a hospital for emergency treatment. The remaining car occupant and the container truck driver sustained minor injuries.

The Lam Dong Provincial Police Traffic Police immediately cordoned off the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.

National Highway 28, spanning over 300 km, connects Phan Thiet, Di Linh, and Cu Jut. This route features numerous steep passes and sharp turns and is frequently used by heavy-duty vehicles.
