delivery driver found dead in roadside ditch

A 24-year-old delivery driver was found deceased in an irrigation ditch alongside a road in Ninh Binh province, his motorbike and an undelivered package discovered nearby.

On the morning of 27/3, residents working in hamlet 1 Nhu Hoa, Quang Thien commune, discovered a motorbike carrying a package partially submerged in a roadside ditch. The dark purple Honda, fitted with a rear cargo rack, was mostly underwater, with no driver visible.

Suspecting an unusual incident, residents immediately reported their findings to the authorities. Police, in coordination with local residents, searched the surrounding area. They located the body of a young man in the ditch, a short distance from where his motorbike lay.

Authorities identified the victim as a 24-year-old resident of Khanh Hoi commune, Ninh Binh province. He worked as a delivery driver in the area.
