Around 10:40 p.m., a 45-year-old driver from Van Nham commune, who had stopped his dump truck near a gas station in Cai Kinh commune for repairs, was struck by a container truck carrying tiles traveling in the same direction. The impact hit the side of the dump truck, dragging the driver underneath the container truck.

Following the collision, the container truck continued into the gas station, hitting a box truck that was also parked nearby. The dump truck driver died at the scene.

At the accident scene, the front of the dump truck was damaged, and the driver's body lay beneath the container truck. All the tiles from the container truck were scattered across the road.

Vi Thanh Phuoc, a driver who witnessed the accident, stated that the container truck driver appeared to be driving erratically, swerving repeatedly.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
