Fire at 90 Nguyen Tuan apartment building

A fire broke out at 8:30 on the 12th floor apartment of 90 Nguyen Tuan apartment building in Thanh Xuan ward on the morning of 16/9.

According to residents, the fire alarm rang repeatedly around 8:30, prompting people to evacuate to the hallways and lobby to investigate the incident.

Nguyen Quang Phuc, a resident, said that according to the building management, the fire occurred in apartment 12 B07 of building HH2. The apartment was locked and empty when the fire started.

Upon discovering the fire, building security and technical staff promptly broke down the door to extinguish it. After receiving the report, Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Team Area 13, under the Hanoi Police's Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Department, dispatched fire trucks and dozens of officers to the scene.

The fire was fully extinguished in about 10 minutes. Initial reports indicated no casualties, but some household items were destroyed.

According to the Thanh Xuan ward leader, initial information confirmed no human casualties, and property damage is being assessed. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.

Just 10 days prior, on 6/9, a fire broke out in a 9th-floor apartment at the same 90 Nguyen Tuan building, from which a mother and her two children escaped. The 90 Nguyen Tuan residential complex spans a 3,7-hectare site, featuring two 29-story apartment towers and 87 townhouses.
