Around 10:00, a 32-year-old woman from Hanoi was driving a four-seater car on Dong Da Street, heading towards popular tourist photo spots at the foot of Prenn Pass. As she reached a concrete section of the road near Phong Nien cafe in Xuan Huong ward, Da Lat, the vehicle veered off the road surface and plunged down a pine-covered hillside.

A resident living nearby reported that the car slid over 10 meters before coming to a stop. Staff from the nearby cafe and other tourists quickly assisted the driver out of the car. The female tourist sustained no injuries.
At the scene, the car was left precariously balanced on the hillside, more than 15 meters below the road. A large pine tree bore the brunt of the vehicle, holding its rear and preventing it from sliding further down Prenn Pass. The car sustained only minor damage.

Rescue teams later arrived and used a specialized crane vehicle to recover the car and return it to the road.
Prenn Pass, a 7.27-kilometer winding route, is a vital artery connecting National Highway 20 with Da Lat. It traverses through dense pine forests, following mountain slopes and lush green valleys.
