Around 10:45 a.m., a fire broke out on the first floor of a four-story coffee shop located at 195 La Casta, Van Phu urban area. The flames quickly spread, generating thick black smoke that affected the surrounding residential area.
Smoke from the blaze drifted towards an adjacent apartment building, forcing many residents to seal their doors to prevent smoke and pungent odors from entering their homes.

Upon receiving the alert, the Hanoi Police Information Command Center dispatched five fire trucks along with numerous officers and soldiers from Firefighting and Rescue Team Area 15 and Area 4 to the scene.
By approximately 11:30 a.m., the fire was brought under control. The blaze destroyed various equipment and assets within the coffee shop.
A leader from Kien Hung ward stated that the initial cause was determined to be welding work conducted by the owner during repairs. The fire affected an estimated 20 square meters, with no casualties reported. Authorities are currently assessing the damage and further investigating the incident.

Earlier on the same day, around 12:50 a.m., another fire occurred at a roadside beer shop on Tran Huu Duc street, Tu Liem ward. Emergency services quickly responded, organizing firefighting and rescue operations.
