The 20-year-old school branch in Hamlet 5, Phuoc Chanh Kindergarten, received a significant upgrade this Tet holiday. The project included a newly inaugurated multi-purpose hall, spanning over 35 square meters. Additionally, workers repainted and upgraded two old classrooms. The formerly unpaved dirt yard is now concrete, providing a safe play area for children.
This important project was made possible by a collaboration between Hy Vong Fund and Nhat Viet Securities Joint Stock Company (VFS), who contributed over 223 million VND in funding.

The new multi-purpose hall addresses a long-standing need for the school. Ms. Le Thi Kim Oanh, Principal of Phuoc Chanh Kindergarten, explained its benefits: "With the multi-purpose hall, teachers have a place to look after children when parents are away in the fields for extended periods. It also serves as a resting place for teachers during lunch breaks when students go home, as the school does not yet offer a full-day program."
The school branch in Hamlet 5 serves 50 students, primarily from the Gie Trieng ethnic group. Its two classrooms and the old multi-purpose hall were built 20 years ago. Before the new facility, the multi-purpose hall lay abandoned due to a sunken foundation, a leaky roof, and peeling walls. To ensure student safety, the school had to fence off the area.

Ms. Ta Hai Ha, Marketing Manager of Nhat Viet Securities Joint Stock Company, shared her optimism for the project's impact. She stated, "We hope that the new facility will contribute to improving learning conditions, motivating students to come to school, and giving teachers more peace of mind in their teaching and care for the children."
On this occasion, VFS also donated 70 warm jackets to all students at the Hamlet 5 school branch and disadvantaged students from Phuoc Chanh Kindergarten, helping them stay warm during the cold season.
