Five-member family rescued from Ha Noi house fire

Fire and rescue police used a ladder truck to save five family members from a house fire in Thinh Liet ward during the early hours of 24/11/2024.

The fire broke out around 1:55 AM on 24/11/2024, originating from the kitchen on the first floor of a five-story house on Thanh Liet street, Thanh Liet ward, Ha Noi. Inside were two adults and three children.

Fire and rescue teams from areas 31 and 13 swiftly deployed four fire trucks and 24 officers to the scene. Upon arrival, the first floor was still engulfed in flames. Police guided the family to the rooftop via stairs while containing the fire to prevent its spread to upper floors.

Firefighters completely extinguished the blaze by approximately 2:35 AM. They then utilized a specialized ladder truck to reach and safely bring the five individuals to the ground.

This incident followed another successful rescue operation early on 22/11/2024, when fire police extinguished a blaze and saved three people trapped in a three-story house on Thuy Y street, Hoai Duc commune, Ha Noi. That fire, which affected a house of approximately 70 square meters, also originated on the first floor.
