Around 1:00 PM on Thursday, four 16-year-old girls from Di Linh commune rode their motorbikes to the Mo stream near Bao Loc pass, located in Hamlet 3, Dai Lao, Ward 1, Bao Loc city. After crossing to the other side of the stream, a sudden surge of water from upstream cut off their return path. A gardener noticed their predicament and alerted local authorities.

Ten officers from Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Team Area 3, Lam Dong Provincial Police Department, arrived at the scene around 5:00 PM. They approached the girls, who were stranded about 300 meters away, by way of a bamboo bridge and reassured them. As the water began to recede, the officers safely escorted all four girls across the stream.
The 5-kilometer Mo stream originates from the Bao Loc pass area and flows over several rock formations, creating small waterfalls. It is a popular destination for locals, especially young people. Heavy rain has been common in the afternoons and evenings in recent days, causing the stream to rise suddenly.
