General Secretary, President To Lam, along with a delegation of Party and State leaders, offered incense for Hung Kings' Commemoration Day at Nghia Linh mountain on the morning of 26/4.

General Secretary, President To Lam and delegates perform rituals at Thuong Temple.

At 7h, the ceremonial procession, comprising Party and State leaders, honor guards, and representatives from associations and local authorities of Phu Tho province, began its ascent from the foot of Nghia Linh mountain to Hung Temple.

Differing from previous years, this year the delegation of Party and State leaders traveled by electric car from the management board building of the historical relic site to the assembly area at the base of Nghia Linh mountain.

Leading the procession was a person carrying the national flag, the festival flag, and a basket of flowers for the offering.

The delegation included one hundred young men, symbolizing the one hundred children from the legend of Au Co - Lac Long Quan, dressed in ancient attire and raising festival flags to represent the vitality of the Hung Kings' descendants.

This morning, the weather at the Hung Temple historical relic site was cool with gentle sunshine. The delegation of Party and State leaders ascended over 539 steps to reach Thuong Temple on the summit of Nghia Linh mountain.

The delegation, led by General Secretary, President To Lam, included former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh and former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

Also participating were Bui Thi Minh Hoai, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Head of the Central Organizing Commission; Tran Sy Thanh, Head of the Central Inspection Commission; Trinh Van Quyet, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; and Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission.

General Secretary, President visits ethnic minority communities and speaks with people from all walks of life at the Hung Temple national historical relic site.
