Girl rescued after jumping from Truong Tien Bridge into Huong River

A 31-year-old woman from Thuan Hoa ward was rescued by police on 11/3 after jumping into the Huong River from Truong Tien Bridge.

Around 5 AM on 11/3, a 31-year-old woman from Thuan Hoa ward arrived at Truong Tien Bridge. She left a suicide note before jumping into the Huong River. The area was experiencing cold, rainy weather at the time.

The Fire and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) received a report from residents and promptly dispatched a rescue vehicle, a canoe, and 14 officers to the scene.

After locating the woman, fire and rescue police officers quickly dived and searched, successfully rescuing her and bringing her ashore. She was then rushed to Hue Central Hospital for emergency treatment. By this afternoon, her condition had stabilized.
