Family of three involved in car collision, resulting in casualties

A serious accident on the afternoon of 1/5 resulted in one man's death at the scene, with his wife and son sustaining severe injuries.

Around 12:30, a collision occurred on provincial road 352 in Viet Khe ward between a car and a motorcycle carrying a family of three.

The car, driven by Pham The Anh (36, residing in Lai Xuan, Thuy Nguyen, Hai Phong), collided with a motorcycle operated by Vu Van Hoa (30, residing in Chinh My, Thuy Nguyen), who was carrying his wife and 3-year-old son.

The impact sent Hoa's family and their motorcycle onto the sidewalk. His wife, Quynh, fell onto the road. The car then struck an electric pole, sustaining heavy front-end damage.

As a result, Hoa died at the scene; his wife and son were injured. The car driver was also injured. Both vehicles were severely damaged, with debris scattered across the road.

Upon receiving the report, ward police and functional units quickly arrived to secure the scene, direct traffic, conduct an investigation, and take statements from witnesses to determine the cause of the incident.

At the time of the accident, provincial road 352 in Viet Khe ward was dry, sunny, and quiet.
