Around 6:30 p.m., the girl went to the back of the house near the restroom when earth and rocks from behind suddenly collapsed. Four other people inside the house, who were in the front, managed to escape.
Lam Dong Provincial Police's Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Division dispatched two fire trucks, an ambulance, and dozens of officers to the scene.

With the earth mass above still unstable and the house at risk of collapse, rescue forces approached from the side. They used an excavator to relieve pressure, breached the wall, and carefully removed thin layers of debris to create a breathing space for the victim.
After more than 30 minutes, the girl was pulled from the rubble and transported to Lam Dong General Hospital. She showed signs of a broken leg.
Xuan Truong Ward Police and other authorities are currently surveying the area, requesting the urgent evacuation of households in landslide-prone zones.
