Hai Phong City completes leadership apparatus

This morning, the Hai Phong City People's Council elected Mr. Le Tri Vu as vice chairman of the People's Council; Mr. Dao Trong Duc was elected as vice chairman of the City People's Committee.

Mr. Le Tri Vu, 48 years old, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Commission, was elected as vice chairman of the 17th Hai Phong City People's Council for the 2026-2031 term.

Currently, the Hai Phong City People's Council is led by Chairman Le Van Hieu and vice chairmen Le Tri Vu, Bui Duc Quang, and Nguyen Khac Toan.

Mr. Dao Trong Duc, 47 years old, previously vice chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Council, was elected as vice chairman of the 17th City People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.

Currently, the Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee is Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, with vice chairmen including Le Anh Quan (standing), Dao Trong Duc, Le Trung Kien, Hoang Minh Cuong, Nguyen Minh Hung, and Tran Van Quan.

The Hai Phong City People's Council also relieved Mr. Vu Tien Phung of his duties as vice chairman of the 17th City People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term, as he will assume other assignments.

Following its merger with Hai Duong province, Hai Phong City now has a natural area of over 3,194 square kilometers and a population exceeding 4.66 million, accounting for about 4.7% of the national population. In 2025, the city's total state budget revenue reached a record of over 190,000 billion VND, surpassing its estimate by 34.8%.
