Around 1 AM, a fire erupted from the kitchen of Pan Van Lo's family home in Pa Don village. The blaze quickly spread, consuming the entire stilt house and extending to a classroom at a nearby primary school.

At the time of the fire, Mr. Lo and his wife were working as hydropower plant laborers and staying at the construction site, leaving their three children alone at home.

Upon discovering the fire, villagers rushed to help but were unable to enter, as the children had locked the doors from inside while they slept. The stilt house ignited rapidly, causing the fire to intensify.

After the fire was extinguished, authorities found Pan Thi Dai (13), Pan Thi Tuyet (11), and Pan Van Vinh (6), all deceased.

Local authorities and functional forces visited and provided support to the family to overcome the aftermath. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
