Over 20 years ago, Khanh Hoa province leased over 28,000 square meters of Nha Trang beachfront to Sovico Co., Ltd. for the Ana Mandara resort project. In early 2024, the local government reclaimed 20,000 square meters of this leased land. The entire resort has since relocated to Bai Dai Beach in Cam Lam commune.
Regarding the remaining area of over 8,000 square meters, Khanh Hoa province extended the lease for Sovico Co., Ltd. until 31/12/2024. With the recent return of 6,200 square meters, Sovico Co., Ltd. retains approximately 1,800 square meters along Tran Phu Street for restaurant and cafe operations.
