On the afternoon of 22/11, a representative from the Department of Construction reported seven new landslide sites in Bo Lang village, Nam Khanh Vinh commune. One section of the road is severely affected, with a crack spanning half its width, extending over 40 meters, and nearly one meter of subsidence. Repair units mobilized to address the damage have encountered significant challenges due to the complex weather conditions on the pass.

This latest damage follows a tragic incident on the night of 16/11, when a passenger bus traveling from Da Lat to Nha Trang was struck by falling rocks, killing six people and injuring 19. Khanh Le pass, a 33 km stretch of National Highway 27C connecting Da Lat and Nha Trang, is prone to landslides during the rainy season. The pass is currently closed, with access restricted to construction and rescue vehicles only.
According to the Khanh Hoa Hydro-Meteorological Station, the province experienced continued moderate to heavy rain on 22/11. Northern and western areas were particularly affected, with rainfall ranging from 20-50 mm and exceeding 70 mm in some locations.
