Around 6:30 p.m., a fire broke out in a warehouse and production area for rattan weaving in Quan Cham village, Phu Nghia commune. Witnesses stated the fire originated from the rear door area of the workshop, adjacent to the community cultural house. Due to the presence of numerous flammable materials, the flames quickly grew high and spread rapidly.
Some residents reported that at the time of the incident, the workshop had closed for the day, with no workers remaining inside. Two family members discovered the fire, managed to escape, and called for help as smoke and flames engulfed most of the workshop.
