The platform was created to address the urgent needs of the labor market, which currently faces fragmented and inconsistent information exchange between workers and businesses.
Accessible at vieclam.gov.vn, the platform's interface displays daily updated information. For instance, on 14/4, it showed nearly 54,500 job openings, 309 job seeker profiles, and 70 active recruitment posts. Job postings are categorized by type, including general positions, industrial park roles, part-time work, and overseas opportunities. They are also classified by age group or specific needs, such as jobs for seniors, youth, and people with disabilities.
Each job posting provides details on salary, number of vacancies, geographical location, job description, and compensation policies. Workers can choose to apply directly or save jobs to view similar listings later. To apply, job seekers can log in via VNeID or register using their citizen identification card information, a step that verifies account authenticity.

Koh Tae Yeon, Honorary Chairman of the Korean Business Association in Vietnam (KOCHAM), noted that human resources are not just about recruitment but are directly linked to technology, production, delivery schedules, and long-term investment plans. KOCHAM represents over 10,000 Korean businesses operating primarily in logistics and information technology, which plan to expand local employment and technology transfer in the coming period.
Many Korean businesses in Vietnam face pressure in securing production personnel due to widespread labor shortages and increasing difficulty in retaining workers. This supply-demand imbalance makes it challenging for businesses to find suitable staff, while workers lack access to accurate recruitment information.
"The platform should not merely post information but actively facilitate genuine connections through detailed data classification by industry, skills, and experience, helping businesses find suitable personnel", Mr. Koh suggested. He added that accumulating sufficient reliable data would contribute to improving national labor policies.

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Manh Khuong emphasized that human resources are always crucial for national development. Statistics show a workforce of 53,6 million people, one million active businesses, millions of business households, and tens of thousands of cooperatives.
He expressed hope that effective connections between labor supply and demand through the Employment Exchange Platform, based on reliable data and identification of market participants, will foster transparent recruitment and job-seeking methods, reduce transaction costs, and enable efficient allocation of human resources.
