Authorities also fined the company 14 million VND for lacking animal and animal product quarantine certificates. A 25 million VND fine was imposed because the production and preliminary processing areas had damp and moldy floors. An additional 16 million VND penalty was for failing to sort and separately store raw materials, finished products, and expired items.
Beyond the monetary penalties, authorities mandated the company destroy nearly 7,7 tons of unprocessed frozen chicken feet and 55 kg of frozen deboned chicken feet.
Two months ago, Dong Nai Police, in coordination with the Market Management Department, conducted a surprise inspection of the facility. The inspection uncovered numerous violations related to the processing of deboned chicken feet and the storage of food ingredients.
