For the past four days, the northern region has been impacted by a strong cold air mass. Today, as the cold air mass begins to weaken, temperatures have risen one to four degrees compared to yesterday. The lowest temperatures recorded were nearly seven degrees Celsius in Sa Pa (Lao Cai), eight degrees Celsius in Mau Son (Lang Son), and a general 15-16 degrees Celsius in Ha Noi.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting announced that tomorrow, a new intensified cold front will affect the northern region, causing scattered rain. By 6/1, the cold front will intensify further, causing temperatures to drop again, with a deep chill persisting in the lowlands and severe cold in some mountainous areas.
According to AccuWeather's forecast, next Tuesday, Ha Noi's temperature will drop to its lowest point of the period, around 15-17 degrees Celsius, then gradually rise, reaching about 24 degrees Celsius during the day by the weekend. High-altitude areas above 1,500 meters, such as Sa Pa, could see temperatures drop to 5-7 degrees Celsius by the middle of next week.

Central Vietnam will see reduced rain tonight. However, starting tomorrow, due to the influence of the intensified cold front combined with a weak easterly wind disturbance, the region will experience scattered thunderstorms. From 8/1, as the cold front and disturbance weaken, rain will gradually decrease.
Southern Vietnam and the South Central Coast, from tomorrow evening until the end of 7/1, will be affected by an upper-level easterly wind disturbance, bringing showers, with heavy rain in some eastern coastal areas. From 8/1, the unseasonal rain will cease, and the weather will gradually transition into the dry season.
Night and morning temperatures in the Central Highlands will generally be below 20 degrees Celsius, and 20-23 degrees Celsius in Southern Vietnam, bringing a cool feeling. Daytime temperatures will range from 29-32 degrees Celsius, increasing to 31-33 degrees Celsius by the weekend.
