Passenger bus and car collide, two dead

Two people died and one was injured in an early morning collision between a passenger bus and a 7-seater car on Ho Chi Minh road in Nhan Co commune on 28/11.

The incident occurred around 2:30 when a passenger bus with a TP HCM license plate, driven by Cu Ngoc Loi, 45, from Buon Ma Thuot, Dak Lak, was traveling from Dong Nai to Dak Lak.

As it reached Nhan Co commune, the bus collided with an old Dak Nong-plated 7-seater car. The 7-seater was driven by Pham Hoang Quang, 44, from Quang Son commune, and was traveling in the opposite direction. There were also two passengers, 31 and 37, both from Tuy Duc commune, in the car.

The strong impact deformed the 7-seater car. The two rear passengers died at the scene. Mr. Quang sustained injuries and was taken to Dak Nong Hospital for emergency treatment. Both vehicles were heavily damaged.

Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
