Passenger bus driver fined 19 million dong for driving against traffic on a national highway

A driver operating a passenger bus against traffic on National Highway 1 was fined 19 million dong by traffic police and had 4 points deducted from his driver's license.

On 10/12, the Quang Tri Provincial Traffic Police Department fined a 49-year-old passenger bus driver, residing in Tuyen Hoa commune, for driving a passenger oto against traffic on a road with a no-entry sign.

Another oto's dashcam recorded the incident at 9h25 on 3/12, on National Highway 1, a section passing through Quang Ninh commune. The video was then sent to the Traffic Police Department's hotline.

The Director of the Traffic Police Department directed the Quang Tri Provincial Traffic Police Department to verify and address the case. The driver, reported to be operating on the Quang Tri - Da Nang route, subsequently met with authorities and admitted the violation.
