Passenger bus hits multiple motorbikes, two dead

A sleeper bus traveling from Can Tho to Ca Mau collided with several motorbikes on the morning of 30/5, resulting in two fatalities.

At 6:40 AM, a sleeper bus heading from Can Tho to Ca Mau unexpectedly collided with multiple vehicles traveling in the opposite direction. The incident occurred on the National Highway 1 bypass in My Xuyen ward, an area formerly part of Soc Trang.

Traffic police from Can Tho City Police, who were at the scene, reported that two motorbike riders died. One other motorbike rider sustained minor injuries. The bus driver and passengers were unharmed.

The accident area experienced heavy rain, making the road slippery. Authorities are currently examining the scene and investigating the cause of the incident.
