Around 7 PM on 23/11, a passenger bus traveling towards Linh Dam swerved into a motorbike carrying two people as it approached the turn-off to Do Muoi street, Vinh Hung ward.

After the initial impact, the bus continued for a short distance before crashing into the bridge barrier and catching fire at its front section. The collision caused a portion of the bridge railing to fall below. The motorbike and its two occupants were also thrown off the bridge.

The incident resulted in a traffic jam on Thanh Tri Bridge, extending for approximately 2 km. Drivers reported delays of over 30 minutes to clear the affected area.
