Around 4 PM, a Dak Lak-registered sand truck was traveling on a road through Ea Phe commune, near Krong Buk Ha dam. As it reached a bend in Puan B village, the truck suddenly overturned to its right, spilling dozens of cubic meters of sand onto the road and burying a motorcyclist.

Upon discovering the incident, dozens of residents used their hands and hoes to dig through the sand in search of the victim. After about 20 minutes, the victim was pulled out but had already died.
At the scene, the truck's cabin lay overturned in front of a house, its windshield shattered. Sand had spilled into the yard, burying two motorbikes. At the time of the accident, the area experienced rain, making the road surface slippery.
According to witnesses, the victim was a man on his way home after exchanging a water bottle when the accident occurred. He had two young children and faced difficult circumstances.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
