The Human Act Prize organizing committee stated that the "timely project" category recognizes initiatives that respond effectively to urgent issues and demonstrate a readiness to commit to the community.
Among numerous applications, the program by Quy Hy vong, established by VnExpress newspaper and FPT Group, was highly praised by the judging panel for its efforts to improve educational conditions in disadvantaged and remote areas.
Over the past seven years, the project has built and renovated more than 600 schools and donated 120 e-libraries, with a total sponsorship value exceeding 100 billion VND. These efforts have provided hundreds of thousands of students with safer and more complete learning environments.

A representative from Quy Hy vong explained that the initial goal of the "School Lights" program was to replace temporary classrooms made of wooden planks and corrugated iron at school sites in remote areas.
"During the journey of building schools, we observed that students in highland regions also lacked boarding houses, restrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, nutrition, and libraries," the Quy Hy vong representative shared. "From that realization, various projects within the School Lights program were developed to meet these essential needs and enhance the quality of education for the children."
A highlight of the program in recent years has been the "School Hygiene" project, which includes 270 facilities. Beyond constructing restroom complexes that meet Ministry of Education and Training standards, Quy Hy vong also focuses on educational and training activities to instill hygienic habits in young children.
"This award is a recognition of the collective efforts of thousands of individuals, VnExpress readers, and hundreds of partners such as Opella, Uniqlo, De Heus, Quy Thien Tam, MoMo, and Home Credit, who have supported us throughout this time," the Quy Hy vong representative added.
In the same category as the "School Lights" program, Truong Hy vong (Da Nang) was also honored for its timely contributions in supporting children orphaned after Covid-19.
The Truong Hy vong project, founded by FPT Group in 2021, has become a second home where children receive care, education, and development in both knowledge and spirit.
The Human Act Prize 2025, themed "persistent service", saw 27 projects reach the final round from 160 applications. The judging panel selected 23 projects to be awarded at the gala night. Participating projects in Human Act Prize 2025 were evaluated based on five main criteria: commitment, sustainability, innovation, impact, and reach.
In addition to the timely project category, the Human Act Prize also presents awards for: idea, persistent project, sustainable project, inspirational project, and annual award.
The Human Act Prize is an annual award established in 2023, directed by Nhan Dan newspaper in collaboration with VCCorp Joint Stock Company. It aims to promote community efforts and spread humanitarian values in Vietnam. In the award's inaugural year, Quy Hy vong was also honored in the persistent project category for its continuous efforts to bring long-term value and benefits to the community, with a focus on children.
