On the afternoon of 16/12, the Central Inspection Committee issued a communique from its 70th session, stating that it had concluded Le Tan Dung, currently Deputy Minister of Education and Training, and Doan Mau Diep, while serving as Deputy Ministers of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, violated Party regulations and State laws. Their transgressions involved the performance of assigned duties and efforts against corruption, waste, and negativity.
The two also breached regulations outlining prohibited actions for Party members and their duty to set an example. These actions caused serious consequences, undermining the reputation of the Party organizations and agencies where they were employed.
Considering the severity, consequences, and underlying causes of the violations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to issue a warning to Dung and Diep. A warning stands as the third most severe form of Party discipline, after expulsion and dismissal.
