The truck was navigating a curve when it suddenly veered, colliding with the guardrail on the right side of the road before overturning.

The victims were identified as Hoang Thi Hien, 50, and Le Van Quang, 26, who died inside the cabin. Trinh Van Hoan, 56, sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the emergency room but succumbed to them later.

At the crash site, the truck was heavily damaged with its front end deformed. Debris and oil spills were scattered across the road, and the guardrail was also damaged.

The driver of the vehicle has not yet been identified. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

National Highway 9, stretching 83 km to the Lao Bao international border gate, is a two-lane road winding through mountainous terrain and numerous sharp curves. Thousands of trucks and container vehicles use this route daily.
