On 24/4, the Hope Foundation, in collaboration with the To Mua Commune People's Committee and Terumo Vietnam Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., officially handed over three restroom facilities to To Mua Primary and Secondary School at its Lien Hung, Lac Muong, and Ban Kham campuses.
Each facility features four compartments, separated for boys and girls, and was constructed according to standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training. The total project cost was 390 million VND, serving approximately 250 students.

Representatives from the sponsoring delegation, along with local leaders and school officials, inaugurated the new facilities.
To Mua commune, formerly part of Van Ho district, is one of Son La province's most disadvantaged areas. School campuses are scattered and far from the center, posing challenges to accessing clean water and standard sanitation facilities. Many old restrooms were dilapidated, cramped, and unsuitable for student use.
According to Mr. Ha Van Thuan, Vice Chairman of To Mua commune, students' health and morale were negatively affected by the need to use temporary, degraded, and cramped restrooms. The new facilities improve school living conditions and provide students with peace of mind and motivation to attend school daily.
This joy was evident on the faces of many students during the handover ceremony. Anh Khoa, a first-grade student at the Lac Muong campus, enthusiastically shared, "The new restroom is beautiful; I'm not afraid to use the restroom anymore."

During the ceremony, Mr. Dang Vinh Nhan, Commercial Director of Terumo Vietnam Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., stated that the company believes a clean, safe, and well-equipped learning environment is a crucial foundation for children's development and for nurturing their dreams.
Mr. Nhan noted, "Constructing new restroom facilities not only helps improve living conditions and protect student health but also creates a friendlier, warmer learning environment for them."
On this occasion, in addition to supporting infrastructure, Terumo Vietnam representatives also awarded prizes for the "My Dream" competition, which included drawing and writing activities. This initiative aimed to encourage students to share their thoughts and dreams, providing further motivation for their studies. The company also presented educational gifts and medical equipment to local teachers and students.
