At a conference on July 7th to deploy tasks for the last six months of 2025, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh assessed that the disbursement rate of public investment has not yet met expectations. Approximately 63,000 billion VND remains undisbursed, requiring a monthly disbursement rate of 9,000 billion VND.
Specialized units have been assigned to closely monitor construction progress, especially for projects commencing or completing this year, in anticipation of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd.
The minister also requested project management boards to quickly finalize the selection of contractors to construct the traffic operation and monitoring system on the North-South Expressway, ensuring synchronized operation from 1/1/2026.
