According to a plan recently approved by the city People's Committee, the renovation will begin on 5/12 and be completed before 30/12, funded by socialized capital. Building facades will be cleaned, and signboards and advertisements will be reorganized for a unified appearance. Roofs and building fronts will be repainted to create a cohesive look along the entire route.

The median strips will be paved with granite. Planters will be stone-clad and feature colorful foliage to add accents. Sidewalks on both sides will also be uniformly paved with stone to enhance aesthetics and complement the central landscape.
Le Loi Street is located near Ben Thanh Market and Nguyen Hue Walking Street, making it one of TP HCM's busiest commercial routes. Many years ago, the street was barricaded for the construction of the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro underground station. The site was only returned in 2022, and business activities are gradually recovering.

This area frequently hosts major events, attracting many residents and tourists for entertainment and shopping. However, many townhouses and apartments along the route are currently degraded, with peeling paint. Sidewalks and median strips are also in disrepair. The Department of Construction believes that renovating the entire route will improve aesthetics and create a modern urban space for the central area.
