Train collision kills two

Two university students in Hanoi died on the evening of 28/3 after their motorbike collided with a train while crossing a civilian railway intersection.

Two university students died instantly on the evening of 28/3 when their motorbike collided with a North-South train in Thuong Phuc commune, Hanoi. The accident occurred around 8 PM as the students crossed a civilian railway intersection. The impact dragged the motorbike about 30 meters, throwing the two victims onto the roadside.

Thuong Phuc commune police identified the victims as two 23-year-old female students. One was a local resident, the other from Thanh Hoa province. Family members claimed the bodies that night to arrange funerals in their hometowns.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
