Two motorcycles collide, three people die

Three people died in a head-on motorcycle collision on National Highway 37, passing through Hoang Van commune, on the evening of 28/12/2024.

Three people died after two motorcycles collided on National Highway 37 in Bac Ninh province around 9:40 PM on 28/12/2024. The incident occurred in Tam Hop hamlet, Hoang Van commune, and involved two motorcycles: one carrying two individuals and the other a single rider.

According to a representative of the Hoang Van Communal People's Committee (UBND), the motorcycle carrying two people veered into the opposite lane while attempting to overtake a car. This resulted in a direct collision with the second motorcycle.

The high-speed impact left all three individuals motionless. One person was confirmed dead at the scene. The two remaining victims were rushed to C Thai Nguyen Hospital in Thai Nguyen province, where doctors later pronounced them dead.

Two of the three deceased individuals were residents of Hoang Van commune, while the third was from Hiep Hoa commune. Their ages ranged from 18 to 27. Both motorcycles sustained severe damage at the crash site.

National Highway 37, a crucial arterial route, stretches over 400 km. It connects the northern mountainous provinces of Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, and Son La with the Red River Delta region, including Hung Yen, Hai Phong, and Bac Ninh.
