Vietnam Fatherland Front welcomes three new vice presidents

Nguyen Phi Long, Le Thi Thuy, and Nguyen Anh Tuan were consultatively elected as vice presidents of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on 12/4.

During a conference, Ha Thi Nga, Vice President and Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, presented a proposal for the consultative election of three individuals to the position of vice president. All delegates present voted to approve the proposal, appointing the three individuals to the Committee, the Presidium, and as vice presidents of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term.

Nguyen Phi Long is a Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations. He is 50 years old, holds a Master of Business Administration, and previously served in various roles in Binh Dinh, including Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. In 2022, he became the Provincial Party Committee Secretary of Hoa Binh, then was transferred to serve as Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee. From 9/2025, he has held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations.

Le Thi Thuy is a Member of the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Women's Union. She is 62 years old, from Nghe An, holds a Master of Laws, and has been a Member of the Party Central Committee for three terms, from the 12th to the 14th. In late 2010, she served as Deputy Inspector General of the Government; in 2019, she was transferred to become the Provincial Party Committee Secretary of Ha Nam, now Ninh Binh province. From 2/2025, she was Deputy Secretary of the Government's Party Committee; by 3/2026, she became Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and President of the Vietnam Women's Union.

Nguyen Anh Tuan is a Member of the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. He is 47 years old, from Thanh Hoa, holds a Doctor of Economic Management, and has been a Member of the Party Central Committee for two terms, the 13th and 14th. He is also a National Assembly delegate for the 15th and 16th terms. He previously worked at the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, holding positions such as Standing Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union. In 2022, he became the Provincial Party Committee Secretary of Bac Ninh, making him the youngest Provincial Party Committee Secretary in the country at that time.

In 7/2025, following the merger of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang, he was transferred to the Central Committee, serving as Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Department. In 3/2026, he was elected President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The current President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is Bui Thi Minh Hoai. The vice presidents include Ha Thi Nga, Nguyen Phi Long, Luong Quoc Doan, Le Thi Thuy, Nguyen Anh Tuan, Bui Quang Huy, Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, and Hoang Cong Thuy.
