Vietnam Vibes by Vietravel is a photo and short video contest aimed at spreading love for the homeland and national pride, commemorating Vietnam's people, culture, and achievements over the past 80 years.
Submissions featuring the national flag, from parades and flagpoles at historical sites to everyday moments, contribute to a sense of national pride and community connection.
One striking entry, "The Color of the Flag" by Do Ba Hung, depicts over 7,000 people in Hai Phong forming a giant Vietnamese flag at Vinhomes Imperia Hong Bang.

The most popular entry as of 12/8 is "Homeland Seen from the Outpost Island," taken on Ly Son Island in the South China Sea. "Atop Thoi Loi Mountain, where the national flag stands tall amidst the vast ocean, I was moved by the symbol of will and aspiration for independence across generations. It evokes deep pride and reminds us that preserving the homeland is not just a duty of the past, but a promise for the future," the photographer shared.

Nguyen Thi Minh Xuan's "Border Flagpole," taken at Hien Luong, Quang Tri, the former demarcation line between North and South Vietnam, captures a sense of history. "I felt immense pride at this sacred historical site. The wall around the flagpole is decorated with murals depicting heroic moments in our nation's history," she explained.

Vietnam Vibes by Vietravel is a photo and short video contest open to all Vietnamese people at home and abroad, as well as international friends. Each submission contributes to a diverse tapestry of Vietnamese patriotism, commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day on 2/9.
The contest has two categories: photo and video. Entries can showcase Vietnam's people, cultural values, and natural beauty, fostering national pride and aspirations for development; or reflect the country's achievements in various aspects of life, especially in innovation, development, and international integration. Submissions featuring the Vietnamese flag are encouraged.
