Vietnamese craft beer brand opens restaurant in Phu Quoc

East West Brewing Co. has inaugurated a new restaurant in Phu Quoc, simultaneously launching its Good Times Lager beer.

According to East West Brewing, the opening of their Phu Quoc restaurant marks a significant milestone in the brand's development. With existing restaurants and a brand presence in major cities like Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Quy Nhon, this new location on Vietnam's renowned island brings the brand closer to the island lifestyle and Vietnamese social culture.

Coinciding with the opening, East West also introduced Good Times Lager, an easy-drinking beer ideal for celebrations and warm climates. A representative from East West Brewing shared that launching this beer at the Phu Quoc restaurant reflects the brand's belief: beer is best enjoyed in social settings.

East West Brewing's beers are available in Vietnam in two forms: canned and draft. According to a company representative, this approach enhances the customer experience and broadens access to their high-quality lager.

Good Times Lager is the result of careful ingredient selection, controlled fermentation, and extended aging, alongside stringent quality standards to ensure clarity, stability, and consistency. Designed to be crisp, clean-tasting, low in alcohol, and easy to drink, Good Times Lager is well-suited for Vietnam's tropical climate.

Loc Truong, Founder and CEO of East West Brewing Co., stated that Good Times Lager was meticulously crafted, from brewing and quality control to distribution through wholesalers and distributors. He noted that the product reflects the global resurgence of lager.

Over the years, East West's IPAs, Pale Ales, and Stouts have impressed experts and beer enthusiasts. With Good Times Lager, East West aims to bring its brand closer to a broader Vietnamese consumer base. The brand applies craft discipline and quality control to elevate the familiar lager style.

"This approach allows our brand to grow without losing its original identity", said Loc Truong.
