Lac Son Dai Phat, the world's largest rock carving, stands 71 m tall, carved into a cliff over 1,200 years ago, and is renowned for its sophisticated drainage system and its strategic location guarding the confluence of three major rivers in Tu Xuyen.

In Tu Xuyen, Lac Son Dai Phat stands as the world's largest rock carving. Artisans meticulously carved this monumental Buddha statue, which rises 71 m, into a cliff face over 1,200 years ago.

This ancient engineering marvel is particularly noted for its sophisticated drainage system, a design that has protected the statue from erosion for centuries. Its strategic placement at the confluence of three major rivers in Tu Xuyen was intended to guard the waterways.
