The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a warning today about a missile barrage launched by Iran, stating that several locations in central Israel were struck.
The strikes occurred after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Israel would continue airstrikes against Iran, despite the US indicating it would negotiate with the country.
Smoke rose after an Iranian missile struck Tel Aviv in central Israel. Tel Aviv officials stated that at least 4 locations in the city were hit by missiles.

Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai told reporters that the building sustained a "direct hit".

According to Israeli media reports, police believe the damage may have been caused by a cluster munition missile. This type of missile is equipped with three to four warheads, each containing about 100 kg of explosives, causing widespread damage in the area.

Many cars parked on the street were burned or heavily damaged when Iranian missiles fell nearby. One vehicle was thrown by the shockwave, blocking the road.
Officials reported six people were injured in the Iranian strike, suffering from smoke inhalation from small fires caused by the explosions. They were treated at a hospital and subsequently discharged.

The Israeli military stated they intercepted over 90% of incoming fire from Iran and regularly reminded residents to seek shelter during alerts, as missile defense systems are not "absolutely airtight".
Three weeks of intense US-Israeli bombardment did not appear to weaken Iran's missile and drone retaliation capabilities. According to closed-door meetings between defense officials and the US Congress last week, Iran may still possess up to 50% of its missile and launcher arsenal hidden in underground bunkers.
The conflict has so far resulted in over 2,000 deaths, while prospects for ceasefire negotiations remain unclear.
