The Xpeng P7 features a function the automaker calls "road rage relief". This allows drivers to tap an in-car screen to project an emoji towards another vehicle – visible only to the sender – as a way to release tension after road disputes or frustrations.
This feature is supported by an augmented reality head-up display (ar hud) introduced on the P7 electric vehicle. The car launched in 5/2025, positioning itself as a competitor to the Tesla Model 3 and high-end versions of the BYD Seal.

The P7's 87-inch ar hud is part of the interior's "technology island", utilizing Huawei hardware with software developed by Xpeng.
This electric sedan is equipped with three Turing AI chips: two manage driving functions, while the third operates in-cabin features.
With an aerodynamic body boasting a drag coefficient of 0,201 Cd, the P7 is larger than its predecessor. It measures 5.017 mm in length, 1.970 mm in width, and 1.427 mm in height, with a 3.009 mm wheelbase.
The vehicle offers three distinct range options: 702 km, 750 km, and a long-range version with a stated capability of 820 km, powered by an 800 V electrical architecture.

All battery packs support 5C fast charging, allowing for a 525 km range with just 10 minutes of charging.
According to CarNewsChina, Xpeng received over 10.000 orders within the first 7 minutes after the second-generation P7 went on sale in China in early 8/2025.
