Xanh SM's new service utilizes VinFast EC Van electric vehicles, featuring a cargo compartment of approximately 2,6 cubic meters and a payload capacity of 659 kg. This makes them suitable for transporting small parcels, equipment, and compact furniture within inner-city areas. The new VinFast electric van previously appeared at the Vietnam Mobility Show 2025, drawing interest from many visitors.

The vehicle boasts a compact design, with dimensions of 3,767 x 1,680 x 1,790 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. Its configuration includes a two-seat cockpit and a rear cargo area. The EC Van is powered by one electric motor, delivering 30 kW of power, 110 Nm of torque, and a top speed of 75 km/h.
The battery has a usable capacity of 17 kWh, providing a range of 150 km on a single full charge. It also supports DC fast charging up to 19,4 kW, with the company stating a 10-70% charge time of 42 minutes. Users can also purchase a 3 kW portable charger for home use. For freight transport, the EC Van offers zero emissions and pure electric operation, which helps minimize vibrations and reduces impact on goods during transit.
Under the Xanh SM operating system, the Green SM Van service employs a team of professionally trained drivers. Users can track their routes in real time and conduct electronic reconciliation after each delivery. The starting price for this service is 110,000 dong for the first two kilometers. Subsequent kilometers are charged based on distance, ranging from 8,000 to 11,000 dong per kilometer, with costs displayed on the Xanh SM app.

Beyond transportation, Green SM Van integrates a "loading and unloading" option for users, available on the app from the service booking stage. "Green SM Van completes Xanh SM's freight transport ecosystem, alongside our electric motorbike delivery service. We approach this sector by standardizing vehicles, personnel, and operational processes to ensure sustainable expansion and enhance the quality of life in urban areas," stated Nguyen Van Thanh, Global General Director of GSM Company.
Green SM Van launched first in Hanoi, with plans to expand to other provinces and cities soon.
